About 111 years ago Miller High Life Beer created a logo of a lady in a wide-brimmed hat sitting on a crescent moon holding a beer in her raised hand. If you pick up a bottle of Miller High Life today and look at the label, you’ll find she’s still sitting there. During the late 1930s or early 1940s, as an advertising gimmick, Miller permitted manufacture of glass intaglio cabochons depicting their famous logo. Obviously vintage but still beautiful, one of these cabochons is the focal on this easy to wear handmade cuff bracelet. The moon maiden intaglio is secured in a lace edged setting backed by a wheel of milky topaz colored vintage Swarovski crystal and a disk of fluted antiqued brass. Brass filigree with a frosty white patina and a pair of matching white and brass leaf stampings frame the cabochon assemblage. All metal pieces are riveted to an antique brass plated cuff that measures about six inches in length. At its widest the cuff measures one and three-quarters inches wide. This cuff fits best on medium to large wrists.
