Elephants, with their trunks raised, are considered to bring good luck, you know. These elephants are beauties, too: turquoise colored Czech glass washed with a golden finish to bring out all the detail Czech beads are famous for. The friendly, rounded little elephants, the same on both sides, measure about three quarters of an inch square and they sit on a pedestal made of a brass spacer and a tiny Czech bead. Dangling beneath is a brass rectangle that I embossed with a tapestry rose pattern, then buffed and finished with wax for extra sparkle. The earrings come complete with ear wires that I handmade from antique brass colored hypoallergenic niobium wire. The earrings measure about three and a quarter inches long from the tops of the ear wires to the bottom of the embossed rectangle.
