Peace Out Earrings

The shape of these earrings was inspired by the beautiful shapes and forms of Japanese tattoo symbols--specifically, the Japanese tattoo symbol for "peace". A variety of unlikely allies come together to create the earring form: an antique brass over pewter dagger charm, a handmade wire wrap bead, two wabi-sabi handmade clay beads, and a tiny Czech glass rondelle. Soothing shades of brass, copper, gray, blue, and brown make these earrings an easy pairing with a variety of casual outfits, and they work well with a number of mawjanga necklaces featuring clay beads that you will find in other listings on this site. The earrings measure 2.37 inches from the top of the handmade hypoallergenic niobium ear wire to the bottom of the dagger charm.
