An antique drawer pull, beautifully displaying the revenge of time, makes an attractive and attention-getting pendant on this one-of-a-kind necklace. The pull, rusty and with some slight bluish patina, has been sealed and waxed, then riveted to a length of rare French brass that has been hammered to shape a filigree style bail. I crocheted the necklace from gorgeous raspberry colored seed beads that have been treated to a heavy Picasso coating. Simple bronze seed beads march in lines over the course of the necklace. Bronze lattice style caps topped with raspberry Czech glass beads and bronze bead caps finish the crocheted rope. A chain of beautifully variegated Czech beads and a handmade hook and loop closure finish the necklace. The pendant measures two inches wide by two and a quarter tall (including the bail); the necklace length is twenty and a half inches.
