Lotus Blossom Assemblage Pin

Named for the Geisha in the 1956 play, Teahouse of the August Moon, this pin is based on a brass fan stamping from the same era. Given a colorful patina, and set with an inch wide glass cabochon bearing a picture of Lotus Blossom herself, the fan secures with its original soldered locking pin back. A 3 1/2 inch long tassel, sways as gracefully as Lotus Blossom from the handle of the fan. The tassel is made of a vintage gold bead, framed with bead caps, along with tiny chains and ornamented with more sparkling vintage beads.
