A print of Golden Age artist W. Heath Robinson's beautifully detailed "Sea Sprite" is sealed beneath a glass cabochon that measures about an inch and three quarters wide by an inch and a quarter tall. Secured in a riveted double lace edged frame, it is suspended with blackened brass chain from an ornate and substantial 19th century drawer pull. (The print is water resistant but best kept dry--definitely not the thing to take swimming!) The four inch wide pull has been lightly gilded and waxed, then ornamented with a rare vintage German glass cabochon set with a pink glass opal. The beaded chain is comprised of rare vintage fluted French brass beads and new Czech glass beads all hand knotted on soft blue waxed linen. The chain secures with a brass lobster clasp; a hand wrapped Swarovski crystal drop finishes the necklace with a little sparkle. This striking one of a kind necklace measures nineteen and a half inches from clasp to close and makes the perfect gift for the art or sea lover!
