Back in the '50s housewives often had lengthy afternoon conversations on the home landline. Accompanied by a cup of tea or coffee, of course! This one-of-a-kind pin made from a vintage French brass telephone stamping that was actually created in the 1950s, but never before used, celebrates those happy days. The stamping has been embellished with a vintage watch face sporting a mother-of-pearl inset. Dangling from the cheery scripted "hello" is a silver-plated teacup charm filled with a topaz Swarovski rhinestone. The phone is backed by a brass stamping and secured to a brass frame, both of which have been hand patina'd. A locking vintage pinback closes the pin securely. All pieces are riveted for lasting durability and have been sealed and waxed to protect the finish.
