A beautiful vintage image from the Art Nouveau era has been transferred to the back of a 30mm X 40mm glass cabochon in a manner that makes it look as if it were hand painted. The image was set in both an antiqued lace edge cup and a vintage prong setting, then riveted securely to an oval of French nailhead brass and backed with additional filigree. The pendant is suspended with tiny rope edged jump rings from a naturally patina'd curvaceous antique drawer pull from the late 1800s. The brass pull is extremely detailed with leaves and swirls so beloved in the Art Nouveau era. A handmade rosary style chain, created from chunky cobalt blue English cuts and cylindrical salmon cathedral beads, suspends the pendant perfectly. Tiny leaf-shaped brass bead caps adorn the English cuts. The necklace closes with a handmade hook and double loop. Completely unique and completely one-of-a-kind, this is a very special necklace.
