Primarily Primrose Cuff

Primarily Primrose Cuff

$85.00

The centerpiece for this one of a kind assemblage cuff is a vintage handmade Czechoslovakian button containing a reproduction print of Alphonse Mucha's "Primrose," first created in 1899, sealed beneath a glass cabochon. The button measures a large 1 1/4 inches across. It is set in both a brass crown setting and a patinaed turtle setting, then backed by two vintage copper colored filigrees. The filigrees have been lightly patinaed, then backed by a large contemporary antique copper-plated filigree. The entire assemblage is riveted to a generous cuff plated in leather-like dark bronze. Adding sparkle on the side of the largest filigree are two golden Swarovski crystals secured in vintage bronze settings from England that are also riveted to the cuff. This is a piece that will draw some attention, not only from the popularity of the Mucha image but also because of the cuff's impressive size; it measures 3 1/4 inches tall and 5 3/4 inches wide. This is a weighty piece yet it sits comfortably on the wrist with the lower part of the filigree resting just beyond the wrist.  Handmade and found only at mawjanga, this is an impressive cuff sure to bring you compliments.
