The Shortest Distance Cuff

The Shortest Distance Cuff

$40.00

We all know that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. But walking a straight line doesn't always make for the most exciting journey. Take the bat, for instance. Never one to fly in a straight line, the bat enjoys travel in fantastical loops and swoops, ups, downs, and all around. Like the bat on this asymmetrical cuff, caught zipping along at a perspective popping angle. The cuff itself is vintage brass, slanted so that one end measures 1 1/2 inches and the other a mere 3/4 inch. The cuff has been patinaed in mawjanga's deep blue Bohemian Midnight patina, then sealed and waxed. The bat is an American made reproduction brass stamping of a vintage bat, colored with mawjanga's Island Gypsy patina, then sealed and waxed. Although this bat might like to fly away, it's securely riveted in place; rivets backed by vintage filigree. The cuff measures about 6 inches wide with an inch and a quarter opening. Comfortable to wear, this cuff is always a reminder to enjoy the journey.
